this came into my mail and i thought it was funny!! :)

English, what a funny language

Saturday's paper (Malaysia's paper) said English is supposed to be easy to pronounce but then.... Leicester is pronounce as "Lester" whereas Manchester is not "Manster"!

Staunch vegetarians can eat sweetmeats as they are actually a candy but they wouldn't touch sweetbreads, which are not bread or sweets but a meat delicacy.

Bombay duck is not a bird from Mumbai but a fish and a guinea pig is hardly a pig from Guinea.

Strawberries do not resemble straw and raspberries do not make rasping sounds. However, blueberries are truly blue and blackberries, black.

If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't plural of booth, beeth? One goose, two geese, One moose, two meese?

How can a "slim chance" and "fat chance" have the same meaning but "wise man" and "wise guy" means differently?

A vegetarian eat vegetabless so what does a humanitarian eat? hehehe...

1. THE E MATHS LEVEL TEST IS CANCELLED!!! so dont turn up for the test.

2. THERE IS BIO FOR US ON MON, 11.30am-1.30pm. in one of the classrooms on the ground floor of st raphael block. all 4/1 pple are expected to be there. i think ms ng is going thru the pracs.

THANK YOU MIJIAO for your ingenious idea of taking photos of the schedule without having to painstakingly copy all the stuff and blah blah blah...gonna post the pictures, so just click on the pictures to get a better and clearer view of it. KUDOS TO MIJIAO! tnx man! i mean, woman!! PS: the dates of the schedules are in order, so dont panic if you like get confused...haha...

Title>>I LOVE 4/1!!

three words. I LOVE 4/1!! period. damn, i'm gonna spend a SUPER LONG time posting everything...damn...i believe everyone had a BLAST during the farewell pizza session...haha...altogether: THANK YOU MS NG!!! but i think everyone had a BETTER time taking photos right?? seriously i think it was the retreat that really brought our class together...it's so touching yeah?? but nothing's too late. it's not too late to be all united now. at least it's before the Os, the time when everyone can really lend each other support.

oh man, today was the best day of sec 4...haha...i mean so many things happened...like how eunice, and not hsi wen, is mr chan's FAV student, and how so many couples 'broke up' and 'engaged' TODAY! haha...mijiao is silvia's new fling, dicky from anderson sec and sze ching...aiya...who cares abt that? it's just funny k??
